FREDONIA, N.Y. (Nov. 22)- The Saint Vincent men's and women's swimming team's competed at day two of the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational on Saturday.
The me currently sit in third place after the first two days and the women's team sits in fourth place.
In the 400-yard IM,
William Schauss won it for the Bearcats on the men's side, swimming a time of 4:12.38.
Giovanni Guido finished in third in the event with a time of 4:27.98 for Saint Vincent.
Maxwell Huck picked up a second place result in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.04), while
Evan Zeni finished fifth in the event with a time of 1:50.88 for Saint Vincent.
In the 100-yard breaststroke,
Liam Randolph finished second (57.56) and
Landon Kirkpatrick picked up a third place finish in a time of 1:00.67.
Jacob Dzurica picked up SVC's second win of the night, winning the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 49.43 seconds for SVC.
On the women's side,
Rachel Hutchinson earned a fifth place result in the 400-yard IM, swimming a time of 4:52.83 for Saint Vincent.
Emma Martz followed with a sixth place result in the 100-yard butterfly, swimming a time of 1:02.12.
Saint Vincent returns to action tomorrow, Sunday, November 23, competing in the final day of the Fredonia Blue Devil Invite.
