GREENWOOD, Ind. (March 25)- Saint Vincent College graduate men's basketball player Osyon Jones has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, which was announced earlier today.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must be a standout on the field, competing in at least 90 percent of their team's games and starting at least 66 percent of their team's games.

Jones (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore) concluded his already impressive Saint Vincent career with Second Team All-PAC honors for the Bearcats. 

During his graduate campaign the veteran forward scored 13.2 points per game, while grabbing 4.6 rebounds per game for Saint Vincent as well. Jones recorded a double-double for SVC in a win against Adrian on December 30. He also led Saint Vincent in scoring in their playoff game against Washington and Jefferson. Jones is also a career 1,000-point scorer for Saint Vincent as well, achieving that goal last season during his traditional senior season.
