MEADVILLE, Pa. (Apr. 1)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team fell on the road at Allegheny on Tuesday night.
The Bearcats (3-7, 1-3 PAC) trailed 12-2 at the half, before being outscored 5-2 in the second half as well by Allegheny (3-7, 2-1 PAC).
Melanie Seefeldt led the Bearcats with two points, recording two assists.

Gabby Salandro, and
Carolina Walters all scored one goal each for the Bearcats in the loss.Â
Alexandria Votovich led SVC with six ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Cassidy Rega took the loss in net, making nine saves for Saint Vincent.
Allegheny quickly jumped out to a 2-0 lead, before Salandro got the Bearcats on the board, cutting the lead to 2-1. Allegheny went on to score the next five goals and 13 of the next 14 as they took a 15-2 lead and had full control. SVC scored two goals in the fourth quarter, but the Gators handed the Bearcats the PAC loss.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, April 5 with a PAC matchup at home against Bethany. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
