GROVE CITY, Pa. (Apr. 12)- The Saint Vincent men's tennis team fell on the road at Grove City by a score of 6-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Saint Vincent (14-4, 4-3 PAC) fell in all three doubles matches to lose the doubles point, before the Wolverines (9-3, 6-1 PAC) won five of the six singles matches over the Bearcats to hand SVC the conference loss.
In doubles play,
Brian Lee and
Braden Yokopenic played the closest doubles match for the Bearcats falling in the top doubles spot by a score of 6-4.
Jack Citrone set the Saint Vincent program record for individual victories after his 6-4, 6-0 win at number five singles. Citrone becomes the programs all-time wins leader in program history, moving past Jon Oskin with his 83rd career win.
The Bearcats will now travel to take on Washington and Jefferson on Monday, April 14 in their regular season finale. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
