LATROBE, Pa. (Apr. 16)- The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse team fell to Grove City by a score of 18-1 in a Presidents Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday evening.
Liam McCall scored the lone goal goal of the game in the loss for Saint Vincent.
Garrett Ritts took the loss in net, making 13 saves for SVC.
Brady Beard and
Carter Haid both picked up three ground balls for Saint Vincent in the loss, while Haid also caused two turnovers.
Grove City out shot the Bearcats by a 56-19 clip. Turnovers were in favor of the Wolverines as well at 28-21. Saint Vincent was 25-28 on clears, while Grove City was 24-28.
The Wolverines led in faceoffs 17-6 and ground balls 39-18.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Friday, April 18 with a road PAC matchup at Washington and Jefferson. The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. in Washington, Pa.
