Smithfield, R.I. (June 19)- The Saint Vincent women's bowling team along with seven of their student-athletes were recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) for their academic excellence in the classroom this past year.
As a team, the Bearcats were named as one of the NTCA's All-Academic Scholar teams. To qualify for the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, programs must have maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2024–25 academic year. SVC achieved a team GPA of 3.340 and was one of just 49 teams in the entire country to earn the award.
Individually, seven Saint Vincent women's bowlers were named NTCA All-Academic Scholar Athletes.

Sabine Strickland, and
Skyy Nicholls all earned the award for the Bearcats.
The NTCA All-Academic Team honors collegiate bowlers who have excelled in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of the sport. To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the academic year. The National Tenpin Coaches Association is privileged to showcase the exceptional academic accomplishments of our student-athletes.
