GROVE CITY, Pa. (Feb. 21)- The Saint Vincent men's swimming team highlighted the awards ceremony at the final day of the 2026 Presidents Athletic Conference Swim Championships. The Bearcats recorded a second place finish at the championship.
Head Coach
Josh Gurekovich was named the PAC's Men's Swimming Coach of the Year, while freshman
William Schauss earned the PAC Newcomer of the Year Award.
On top of the individual accolade, Schauss added another PAC Championship to his young career. The freshman won the 1650-yard freestyle for Saint Vincent in a time of 16:44.43.
Jacob Dzurica had a big final day for the Bearcats as well. The senior concluded his final PAC Championship meet with another record and championship victory added to his resume. In the prelims of the 100-yard freestyle, Dzurica raced a PAC record time of 43.96 seconds, which is also an NCAA "B" Cut time as well. He followed that up in the finals by winning the event in a time of 44.07 for the Bearcats.
In the 200-yard backstroke,
Giovanni Guido (sixth) and
Anton Seifert (seventh) both recorded podium finishes.
Liam Randolph (third),
Joseph Borneman (fifth), and
Landon Kirkpatrick (sixth) all finished on the podium in the 200-yard breaststroke to add to the Bearcats solid night.
Owen Echegaray raced a time of 2:03.69 for the Bearcats to finish fifth in the 200-yard butterfly, while the 400-yard freestyle relay team concluded the championships with a second place (3:09.48) finish.

Hayden Klein was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
Grove City won the event with a team score of 1063.
