Women's tennis drops doubleheader in Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (Mar. 5)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team dropped a doubleheader in Hilton Head on Thursday morning to the University of Puerto Rico.

Saint Vincent lost both matches by scores of 7-0.

In the opening match of the day, Caroline O'Connor and Sydney McWreath played the Bearcats two closest matches. Both lost by scores of 6-0, 6-2.

In the second match for the Bearcats, Emily Pierce and Cecilia Hickin played the closest matches. Both lost by scores of 6-0, 6-1.

The Bearcats return to action on Wednesday, March 18 with a home matchup against Kutztown. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the SVC Courts.
