Men's lacrosse drops PAC matchup at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. (Apr. 11)- The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse team fell to Grove City 23-5 in a Presidents Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolverines led 8-0 after a quarter and never looked back. SVC was outscored 15-5 over the final three quarters as well.

Calvin Rose (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jonathan Nagy (2 assists) both led Saint Vincent with two points in the loss. Reed Hunt, Connor Smith, Ryan Rosenberger, and Gavin Smallwood all scored one goal each in the loss as well for Saint Vincent.

Rose led Saint Vincent with five ground balls and two caused turnovers as well.

Garrett Ritts made 10 saves in net, playing the opening two quarters for SVC. Jackson Blow made four saves and Tyler Friend made two of his own as each played a quarter for the Bearcats.

Saint Vincent returns to action on Wednesday, April 15 with a road PAC matchup at W&J. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Washington.
