BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Apr. 14)- The Saint Vincent men's golf team won the Bedford Springs Invitational hosted by Moravian University at Bedford Springs Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.
As a team, the Bearcats shot a total of 308 (+20) to win the event by four strokes over the host, Moravian, who shot a team total of 312.
Brendan Cooley was Saint Vincent's top finisher, finishing third overall after shooting a round of 75 (+3). Cooley carded three birdies and 10 pars on his scorecard.
Owen Dzurko placed t-5th for Saint Vincent, recording a round of 77 (+5). Dzurko recorded three birdies and nine pars for the Bearcats at the invitational.
Matt Edwards and
Owen Miele both finished t-8th, shooting rounds of 78 for the winning Bearcats team. Edwards recorded one birdie and 11 pars, including eight of which came on the front nine. Miele also recorded a birdie and 11 pars for SVC as well.
Evan Bower carded a round of 88 for SVC, recording six pars on his card.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Monday, April 20, competing in the Grove City College Invitational. Tee times are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Grove City Country Club on Monday afternoon.
