LATROBE, Pa. (Apr. 22)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team fell to Chatham by a score of 18-4 at UPMC Field on Wednesday night.
Chatham led 6-2 after the first quarter, but outscored the Bearcats 7-0 in the second quarter as the Bearcats trailed 13-2 going into the half. In the second half, the Bearcats were outscored by a slight 5-2 margin.
Chloe Herring led Saint Vincent two points, scoring one goal, while dishing out an assist as well. Herring also scooped up three ground balls.
Cara Dupilka,
Melanie Seefeldt, and
Carolina Walters all scored one goal each for Saint Vincent as well.
Katie Smith led Saint Vincent with four ground balls.
Cassidy Rega took the loss in net, making five saves for Saint Vincent.
Saint Vincent will now wait and see if they qualify for the PAC playoffs this weekend. The PAC playoffs begin next Tuesday, April 28.
