HUNTINGDON, Pa. (Sept. 1)- The Saint Vincent men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Juniata in SVC's 2026 season opener on Tuesday night.
Juniata (1-0) scored the lone goal and difference maker in the game in the 27th minute of the first half and the Bearcats (0-1) weren't able to get much going offensively in the loss.
The Bearcats were outshot in the loss by a 21-4 margin. Corner kicks were 10-1 in favor of Juniata as well, while fouls were 9-7 with the Bearcats being on the higher end.

Stephen Scott recorded the only two shots on goal for Saint Vincent in the loss.
Grant Archuleta took the loss in net, but made six saves, helping to keep the Bearcats in the game.
Saint Vincent will return to action on Friday, September 4, as they travel to Houghton for another non-conference matchup. The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in New York on Friday evening.
