Biography
2012: Joined the Bearcats midway through the season. Averaged 11.2 points per game as the starting point guard. Had a 3.9 assist to turnover ratio for the season, with 4.5 assists per game. Had a season-high 24 points on February 15 against Thomas More. Also tallied 18 points - all on three-pointers - against Washington & Jefferson on February 18.
2010-2011: Played for the Edinboro University Fighting Scots (Division II), where averaged 6.3 points, 2.7 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game. He appeared in 51 games, making 14 starts, including 11 during his sophomore campaign. From the field, he connected on 33.9 percent (78-of-230) attempts and 30.2 percent (42-of-139) chances from beyond-the-arc. For his career, he is an 84.5 percent (125-of-148) free-throw shooter.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played his high school basketball at nearby Greensburg Salem where he led the Golden Lions to a PIAA Class AAA championship game in his senior season. He graduated as the third all-time leading scorer with 1,455 points after averaging 17.7 points per game. Following the season, he earned second-team All-State honors and was named to the Post-Gazette Fab 5 and Tribune-Review Player of the Year.
PERSONAL: Born 6-26-90, son of Rick and Rose Klimchock. Brother of Laura, a 1,300+ point scorer for the Saint Vincent women's program, and Ben, a freshman on this year's Bearcat team.
