Biography

2013:  Started 35 games at second base, batting .307 with five doubles and 2 triples.  Led the team with 25 RBI despite batting leadoff most of the season.  Tied for second on the team with 39 hits. Had a solid .983 fielding percentage.

2012:  Appeared in 34 games, starting 31.  Batted .278 with 30 hits in 108 at bats.  Had a .974 fielding percentage at second base.  Drew 25 walks (tied for team high) against just 12 strikeouts.  Stole six bases. 

2011: Appeared in 30 games for the Bearcats, starting 27… Batted .292 (28-96) with three doubles and one triple… Knocked in 13 runs while scoring seven… Second on the team in stolen bases (6) and walks (16)… Recorded his first career hit as well as first career RBI against Rochester Institute of Technology (3-5).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduate of Baldwin High School... Played four years of baseball... Team captain as a senior... Also lettered in hockey for two years... 

PERSONAL:  Son of Duke and Nancy Kavinsky... Honor student... Elementary Instruction major.
