2012:  Appeared in five games, going 2-for-5 with a pair of singles. 

2011: Made seven appearances with one start for the Bearcats… Recorded two doubles and one RBI… Tallied his first hit of the season against Franciscan University (4-29).

2010: Made six appearances off the bench... Saw time in right field, as well as pinch runner... Scored three runs... Went 1-for-3 at the plate, recording first career hit, an RBI single, vs. Bethany (4-20).
 
High School: Graduate of Belle Vernon... Played four seasons of both baseball and golf... All-Section baseball pick following senior season... Senior team captain
 
Personal: Born 6-15-90... Son of Jim and Luanne Russell... Sociology major... Older brother Ryan is a graduate of Saint Vincent, and four-year member of the Bearcat baseball team (2000-04)... Grandfather Jim Russell played Major League Baseball for 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Braves, and Brooklyn Dodgers.
