Biography
2018-19: Named PAC Player of the Year, and was a Second Team All-NABC Great Lakes Region Selection. Was named to the d3hoops.com Great Lakes Region Third Team, and earned ECAC Honorable Mention honors. Led the Bearcats with 17.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, along with a total of 50 blocked shots for the season. Scored 20+ points in 8 different games and had 7 double-doubles. Had season highs of 32 points and 17 rebounds against Geneva on February 13.
2017-18: Named First Team All-PAC for a second straight season. Appeared in all 26 games, making 25 starts. Converted 48.1 percent of his field goal attempts (115-239). Led the team in scoring (11.3), rebounding (7.1), free throw attempts (120), blocked shots (48) and minutes played. Ranked second on the team in steals (26). Was the team's leading scorer in 10 games and scored in double figures 16 times. Ranked sixth in the league in rebounding and second in blocked shots. Dropped a season-best 22 points in an overtime loss to Geneva College in the PAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Feb. 20. Scored 21 points in a home win over Geneva on Jan. 27.
2016-17: Was named All Great Lakes Region by D3hoops.com, Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division III South Men's Basketball Second Team and an All-Presidents' Athletic Conference First Team pick. Also selected the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2016-17 Honors Court for his work academically. Ranked second on the team in points per game (11.9), first in rebounds per game (7.6), second in field goal percentage (54.5) and tied for the team high in blocks (53). Scored in double figures 19 times last season. Ranked among the best in the PAC in rebounding, field goal percentage, blocks and offensive rebounding. Was named Presidents' Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month for January. Member of the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2014-15: Appeared in four games and scored four points for Carnegie Mellon University.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of basketball at Gateway High School. Named First-Team All-Section for the Gators.
PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Suzanne Kromka. Majoring in Economics.
