Saint Vincent College

2017: Made 14 appearances on the mound, four of which were starts during his junior season. Struck out 27 in 30.0 innings of work. Racked up a team-high three saves, all of which came in PAC play. Once making the switch to the bullpen, he held an outstanding 0.69 Earned Run Average (ERA) in 10 appearances. Member of the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll. 

2016: Made 10 starts on the mound as a sophomore, going 1-6 with an ERA of 4.05. Tossed a seven-inning complete game shutout of Bethany on April 2. He suffered unfortunate bad luck throughout the year, as only 24 of the 41 runs he allowed were earned. 

2015: Made 13 appearances on the mound with an ERA of 5.25 and a record of 3-7. Registered 36 strike outs in 58.1 innings pitched. Appeared in 22 games in the field making 16 starts at first base. Recorded five hits and five runs while batting .208.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of baseball at Belle Vernon.  Was a 2012 WPIAL Pitcher of the Year nominee.  Named to First Team All-Section in 2012 and 2014, Second Team in 2013.  Honored by Herald-Standard as a top Spring Sports Athlete in 2014.

PERSONAL:  Son of Darin and Emily Pietrantoni, majoring in engineering at SVC.
