Biography

2019:  Pitched in 10 games with 4 starts, posting a record of 2-2.  Worked 6 scoreless innings in his first start of the season, a combined 14-0 shutout against Emerson College.  Threw a complete game against Geneva on April 10, working 9 innings, giving up just one unearned run while striking out 5.  

2018: Made seven appearances during his sophomore season, including making five starts. Put together a 1-4 record on the mound, highlighted by a win over Trine where he allowed just one earned run in five innings of work against the Thunder on March 8. Member of the ECAC President's Honor Roll and the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll. 

2017: Appeared in eight games as a freshman, including four starts. Put together a 2-2 record. Racked up 14 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport athlete at Mercyhurst Prep in Erie, playing baseball and basketball. Second-Team All-Region honoree. 

PERSONAL: Son of Fred and Julie Gillespie. Majoring in history at Saint Vincent.
