2016: Saw action in four contests, including three appearances on the mound. Made first collegeiate start as a pitcher against Thiel on April 12. Collected first hit in the season finale at Waynesburg on April 30. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of baseball for Elizabeth Forward High School. Also competed in soccer and golf for the Warriors. Was recognized by the Trib as its baseball player of the week. 

PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Laura Bakewell. Major is undeclared.
