Saint Vincent College

2019:  Named All-PAC Second Team.  Played in 37 games, starting 36.  Had 42 hits in 122 at bats, for a batting average of .344, second best on the team.  Led the team with 13 stolen bases, and was tied for third in the conference.  Recorded 8 doubles and 28 RBI.  Had an on-base percentage of .453, and led the team in hit batsmen with 11, which was tied for 5th in the conference.  Had 15 multi-hit games.  Stole 3 bases against Thiel on April 4.

2018: Named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team. He started 33 games in the outfield, compiling a .305 batting average.  Morrone tallied 39 hits, which included six doubles and a pair of home runs. He continued to be flawless defensively, as he holds a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage through his first three years with the program. Recorded 12 multi-hit efforts, including a four-hit performance in a wild 16-11 PAC win at Waynesburg on April 14. Member to the ECAC Academic Honor Roll. 

2017: Saw action in 18 games, which included 15 starts. Collected 14 hits and 10 runs scored. Recorded four multi-hit games, including back-to-back three hit efforts against Wittenberg and Coe during the team's Spring Break trip to Florida. 

2016: Appeared in 12 games as a freshman, 10 of which were starts. Put together a .343 batting average (12-for-35) with nine runs scored and seven runs batted in. He also was successful on all three stolen base attempts. Had four multi-hit games, including two three-hit outputs. His best performance came against Geneva on April 15, going 3-for-5 with three runs batted in, a double and a run scored. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Four year member of the baseball team at Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Also was a member of the Vikings hockey team for two years. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jerry and Joyce Morrone. Majoring in Finance.
