Saint Vincent College

2019:  Batted .313 as a senior, appearing in 33 games and making 30 starts.  Recorded 9 doubles and 21 RBI.  Finished his SVC career with a .264 batting average.  Pitched in two games, working a total of one scoreless inning.  

2018: Appeared in 22 games, making 12 starts during his junior season. Recorded eight hits and eight RBI during that time. Registered two hits, two RBI and two runs scored against Gwynedd Mercy on March 7. Member of both the ECAC President's Honor Roll and the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll. 

2017: Saw action in 24 games, including making 17 starts. Recorded 11 hits in 44 at-bats and scored five runs. Tallied four multi-hit games, including a two-hit effort in a series clinching win over Thiel College on April 26. Also appeared in five games on the mound. 

2016: Appeared in eight games, making two starts as a freshman. Went 3 for 9 (.333) at the plate, including a two-hit game against PAC Champion Thomas More on April 27. Made two relief appearances on the mound, working 4.0 innings and posting a 2.25 ERA. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of baseball at Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Helped lead the Vikings to the WPIAL Class AAAA Championship as a senior. 

PERSONAL: Son of Frank and Lisa LaCava. Majoring in English at SVC.
