2024: Played in 14 games, including five starts in the field, while also pitching in three games, including one start on the mound during his freshman season... recorded his first collegiate RBI in the game against Chatham (4/9), while picking up his first hit of his career in the game at Geneva on April 23... pitched 7.2 innings, giving up six earned runs on eight hits, while also striking out three batters... his best outing on the mound came in the win at Lycoming when he pitched five innings, giving up two earned runs on four hits, while striking out two batters and walking two as well... also pitched a scoreless inning in relief at Hiram on March 24.

Graduate of Steel Valley High School... three-sport athlete at Steel Valley, competing in baseball and ice hockey for four years, while also being a three-year member of the golf team as well... in baseball, he was a three-year varsity letterman, while also leading the team in RBIs... was a two-year varsity letterman in hockey, while also earning the academic prowess PIHL badge... also a three-year varsity letterman in golf, while also being a member of the academic high honor roll... son of Christopher and Christie Hurd... majoring in sports management.
