2024: Named AMCC Player of the Year as well as All-AMCC First Team during his sophomore campaign... also named CSC Academic All-District... led the team in kills with 377, which was good for 3.85 kills per set, while also picking up 13 assists... recorded 226 digs, which was good for 2.31 digs per set and 40 blocks over the course of the season as well.

2023: Turned in impressive debut season... ranked in the top-10 in the AMCC in a number of statistical categories, including aces (second), points-per-set (fifth), kills per set (seventh) and solo blocks (seventh)… posted hitting percentage of .238 in all matches (8th in AMCC) and .259 in AMCC matches (11th)… tallied 10 or more kills in 10 matches, highlighted by 16-kill efforts against Behrend (Feb. 12) and Thiel (April 1)… tallied two or more aces 13 times, including 5-ace effort vs. Wells (March 25) and 4-ace performances against Hiram (March 29) and Mt. Aloysius (April 5)… recorded two or more total blocks in nine different matches.

Graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Pleasant Hills, Pa. ... three year member of the basketball team and two year member of the volleyball team at Thomas Jefferson ... in basketball he was a three year varsity letterman ... in volleyball he was a two-time First Team All-Section winner, AA Section 3 MVP, two-time First Team AA All-WPIAL (district) winner, 2021 PVCA AA All-State team member, and was on the 2022 AVCA All-American watchlist ... son of Chris and Debby McSwiggen, majoring in Middle Level Education.
