2024: Played in 16 matches over the course of the season for the Bearcats... recorded 16 kills and four assists, while also scooping up 25 digs and two blocks during his freshman season... averaged 0.57 kills per set and 0.89 digs per set over the course of the season as well.

Graduate of Greater Latrobe High School... two-sport athlete for the Wildcats, competing in volleyball and golf... in volleyball he was a three-year letterman under head coach Drew Vosefski, while also being named All-WPIAL First Team in 2023... led his Wildcat team in kills during their section championship season in 2023 ad was named the Western Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Week during his senior year as well... academically he graduated in the top 10% of his class, graduating with a 4.25 GPA, was the Student Council Vice President, member of the Distinguished Honor Roll, and a National Honors Society member as well... was a three-year letterman in golf as well... majoring in business administration with plans to continue on to an MBA program after graduation... son of Mark and Maria Nelson.
