2023-24: Played in 17 games over the course of her freshman season for the Bearcats, playing critical minutes coming off the bench... averaged 7.9 minutes per game, including scoring 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds during her freshman season... scored a career-high five points and dished out two assists in the win against Thiel on January 17.

Graduate of Laurel High School... four-year member of the basketball team at Laurel... named First Team All-Conference her junior and senior years of high school and was also a four-year varsity letterman... academically she wason the high honor roll all four years, while also earning the Math Award and Leadership Award as well... daughter of Dan and Jackie Pontius... majoring in finance with a minor accounting, with plans to become a certified financial planner.
