Biography
2017-18: All-PAC Second Team honoree. Benvenuti became the first Saint Vincent women's basketball player to earn All-PAC honors four times since the team joined the conference as full-time members. The Franklin, Pa. native became the 27th player in program history to join the 1,000-point club when she did so back on Jan. 3 in a road win against Bethany. Benvenuti ranked first on the team in rebounds (170), steals (58) and minutes played per game (26.6). The dynamic guard ranks second on the team in free throw percentage (77.8 percent) and third in scoring (8.5 per game) and total assists (64). Recorded a team-high 20 points and added nine rebounds in the Bearcats' biggest win of the season, a 69-58 victory over rival W&J on Jan. 24. During her career, Benvenuti has tallied 1,149 points, 635 rebounds, 322 assists, 279 steals, 413 made field goals and has appeared in 120 games for the Bearcats. Member of the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2016-17: Recognized as an All-PAC Honorable Mention selection. Appeared in just eight games before suffering a season ending injury on Dec. 10 at Waynesburg. Was averaging 11.8 points per game at the time of her injury, which ranked second best on the team and first in rebounding (7.1 per game). The Franklin, Pa. native also had a 3.4 assist to turnover ratio. She had recorded six double-digit scoring performances in the first eight games as well, including a stellar 18-point and 9-assist output against nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon University on Nov. 26.
2015-16: Named Second-Team All-PAC for the second consecutive season. Benvenuti led the Bearcats in points per game (13.3) and rebounds per contest (6.6) among other categories. The Franklin, Pa. native concluded the season with 99 assists, 72 steals and 18 blocks. Benvenuti ranked among the PAC's best in free throw percentage, converting 80.6 percent at the charity stripe. Benvenuti poured in a career-high 27 points in a win over Chatham on Dec. 12. Benvenuti showed her versatility by pulling down 16 rebounds in a win over Juniata on Nov. 28.
2014-15: Named Second Team All-PAC. Appeared in 27 games, 25 of which were starts. Ranked third on the team by averaging 9.1 points per game. Also chipped in 107 rebounds, 68 assists and 63 steals. Made 91 field goals, including 22 three-pointers and also converted 43 of 58 free throws (74.1 percent). Scored a career-high 24 points at Juniata on November 25. Dished out a career-high 8 assists in the season opener against Penn State Altoona on November 18.
2013-14: Appeared in 28 games as a freshman with 17 starts. Averaged 6.8 points per game and led the team with 62 steals. Was second on the team with a 4.1 rebounds per game average. Had a 1.39 assist-to-turnover ratio. Scored career-high 18 points against Bethany on January 18.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played basketball and volleyball at Franklin High School.
