Pitt-Greensburg scored in the 82nd minute to hand the Bearcats a 2-1 loss in a game called early due to a severe thunderstorm.
Under threatening skies, UPG's Kraig Koeppl sent home a one-timer in a scramble in front of the net for the eventual game winner. Just 50 seconds later, officials called the game due to strong lightning in the area.
The Bobcats got on the board first in the opening half, when Mark Tomich scored off an assist from Marsial Ritchey six minutes into play.
UPG continued to press offensively over the middle stages of the first half, before the Bearcats posted six shots over the final eight minutes of the half. None were able to find the net, however, and the Bobcats went into the intermission with the one-goal lead.
The Bearcats were strong coming out of the intermission, maintaining steady possession over the first 25 minutes of the half. Over that span, SVC owned a 9-1 advantage in shots and took four corner kicks, before

The game then evened out over the next several minutes, with each goalie making a pair of saves, before Koeppl scored the eventual game winner for the Bobcats after a scrum in front of the net with 7:55 left to play.
For the game, the Bearcats owned a 12-1 advantage in corner kicks and posted a season-high 24 shots, but managed to put just eight on goal, with Bobcat goalie Pat McGraw making seven saves. The Bobcats finished with 12 shots, and SVC goalie
