LATROBE, Pa. (Nov. 1)- The Saint Vincent men's soccer team concluded their historic season with a 2-1 loss to Geneva in the Presidents Athletic Conference Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon.
After a scoreless opening half, the fifth seeded Golden Tornadoes struck for two second half goals to put them up 2-0 in the game. Saint Vincent added a goal late in the half, but it was too little too late.
Javier Torres scored the Bearcats lone goal of the game in the playoff loss.
Kameron Rock made three saves in net for SVC as well.
Saint Vincent out shot the Golden Tornadoes in the loss by an 11-8 margin. Geneva led corner kicks 5-0.
The Bearcats conclude their historic season with an 11-4-5 overall record, including going 5-2-4 in PAC play.Â
