The Bearcats lost to a tough Adrian College team on the road in Michigan by a score of 19-10.

SVC's Ryan Kearney scored the game's first goal, but the Bulldogs closed the opening quarter with three straight goals, then added another pair of unanswered tallies to start the second quarter.   By halftime, the lead had grown to 10-2.

After the hosts added another goal at the outset of the third quarter, SVC came back, scoring four straight goals -- one each from Zach Wilfong, Jake Dick, Mike Diggs and Alex Walsh.  However, Adrian then settled back into their game plan, pulling away for the victory.

Kearney led the Bearcats with four goals on the day, including three in the final seven minutes of the game.  Wilfong added three.   The team's leading scorer coming into the game, Will DeLanoy, was held to just two assists by a tough Bulldog defense, which caused 12 SVC turnovers on the day.

The Bearcats drop to 4-2 with the loss, and will return to action Tuesday, hosting the College of Wooster.
