TRAFFORD, Pa. (Apr. 20)- Saint Vincent men's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Calvin Rose was named the Presidents Athletic Conference Specialist of the Week.

Rose went an impressive 27-for-38 (71 percent) in faceoffs over the course of the Bearcats' 2-0 week and also scored seven goals, dished out two assists and scooped up 19 ground balls.

He scored four goals and dished out an assist, while picking up nine ground balls in SVC's 22-2 win at W&J. Rose followed that up with three goals and one assist with 10 ground balls and a caused turnover in the Bearcats' 26-4 victory against Hiram in their regular season finale.

Rose and the Bearcats have clinched the number three seed in this week's PAC playoffs. The Bearcats will play an opponent and time to be determined later this week at home at UPMC Field.
