The Saint Vincent men's soccer team lost a late-night game at Carnegie Mellon University by a score of 4-1.

The Bearcats then took a 1-0 lead when Justin Verneau tied scored off a header pass from Anthony Balistreri in the 32nd minute.

However, just six minutes later, the Tartans tied the game, and the teams went into the break knotted at 1-1.

Just over two minutes into the second half, the hosts were awarded another penalty kick, and converted for the eventual game-winner.

For the night, SVC was out-shot 36-5, while CMU also held a big advantage in corner kicks, 16-1.

Gilbertson played well, saving 15 shots.
