Bearcats lose road game in Kentucky

The Saint Vincent men's soccer team remained winless in the Presidents' Athletic Conference following a 3-0 loss on the road to Thomas More College.

A foul inside the 18-yard box set up the hosts' first goal of the game, a penalty kick at the 7:00 mark of the first half.

The Saints then added goals in the 20th and 44th minute to take a 3-0 lead into the halftime break.  Both teams played evenly in the second half, but SVC could not recover. 

Clemente Mejia posted five saves in the net, yielding two goals in 69 minutes of play for SVC.  Bo Tokarski gave up one goal in 21 minutes.

For the day, Thomas More out-shot Saint Vincent by a 17-5 margin.

With the loss, Saint Vincent is now 5-10-1 overall, but is 0-6 in the PAC and has lost eight straight games.  Thomas More is now 8-3-4 overall.
