The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse team trailed 5-4 after three quarters, but fell, 13-4, under the lights at Frostburg State.

The loss, SVC's fifth straight, drops the Bearcats to 2-5 on the season. The Bobcats snap a two-game losing streak and improve to 7-4 on the year.

Corbin Cole recorded a hat trick for SVC. Matt Mackey scored the opening goal of the game and put SVC ahead, 1-0.

The Bearcats held a 2-0 lead after 15 minutes, but the hosts rallied to take a 3-2 lead at halftime. The two teams were even, 2-2, in the third quarter, but Frostburg out-scored SVC, 8-0 over the final 15 minutes to post the 13-4 win.

The host Bobcats held a substantial 47-20 advantage on shots and won 13 of 21 face-offs.

Adam Gunter suffered the loss, making 12 saves in 58:29.

SVC hosts Otterbein on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m.
