The Geneva Golden Tornadoes softball team swept the Bearcats by scores of 5-0 and 9-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference action in Beaver Falls.

Becky Deane had two of Saint Vincent's five hits in the opening game, with Shayla Landman, Shannon Baczek and Sam Shumaker each recording one. Emily Lauterbach worked 4.1 innings and took the loss, giving up four earned runs.  Brianna Toth worked 1.2 innings of scoreless relief.

In game two, Shumaker and Maria Adams each singled - the only two hits SVC posted in the game.  Ally Vrcek took the loss, pitching 3.2 innings.  The game was shortened to five innings.

Saint Vincent is now 6-6 overall, 1-3 in the PAC.  The team returns to action on Saturday with a doubleheader at Thiel College in Greenville, beginning at 1PM.
