The La Roche College Redhawks defeated the SVC men's soccer team in non-conference play by a 4-1 score.  

The hosts scored just over three minutes into the game, when a long throw-in resulted in a header past SVC keeper Aaron Wilkinson, making it 1-0.  Just over four minutes later, the Redhawks added a second goal after an interception inside the box.

Down 3-0 later in the half, the Bearcats got on the board thanks to a pair of freshmen, as Kevin Proctor sent a pass to Scott Luthy, who scored to make it 3-1.

La Roche added another goal in the 35th minute to make it 4-1 at the break.

The second half was played much more evenly, as both defenses played well, with neither team able to add another goal.

Saint Vincent is now 1-6 after the loss, and will return to action on Wednesday, traveling across town to Greensburg to face the Bobcats of Pitt-Greensburg.
