Saint Vincent College defeated the Thomas More Saints by the final of 75-61 to remain undefeated in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

The Bearcats and Saints were neck-and-neck throughout the entire first half. The hosts started off hot with a 5-0 lead.

From the 15 minute mark to the 11 minute mark, the score was tied to which Dillon Stith scored the next eight points to put SVC up 21-13, after a technical foul was called on Thomas More's bench.

However, the Saints answered quickly, going on their own 9-0 run to put them up 22-21, with just under four minutes to play.

Saint Vincent would not be behind long thanks to Isaac Turner, who hit a layup and a key three-pointer to go back up by one, 26-25. The Bearcats took a slim 31-29 lead into the locker room, and Stith led all scorers with 15 points while Turner added 10.

In the second half, Sean Kett put up 17 points to propel SVC in front of a packed Carey Center.

Both teams traded baskets through the first eight minutes of the second half, with Saint Vincent unable to put the Saints away.

A key moment in the second half was when Kett pulled down an offensive rebound, scored and made the and-one to put the Bearcats up ten, 51-41 with 10:48 left to play.

However, Thomas More would find a way to fight back within six. With the Carey Crazies showing their support and SVC up 56-50, the hosts used a 13-3 run in which Kett scored 10. Up by 16, the Bearcats had the game in hand through the final four minutes.

Saint Vincent's leading scorer was Stith who put up a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while turner finished with 20 along with six assists. Kett had 19 points to go with six rebounds and JC Howard tallied seven assists.

With the win, SVC improves to 14-2 and stays perfect in the PAC at 7-0. Their next action is Wednesday at 7:30PM when they host Waynesburg.
