CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (Oct. 16) - The Saint Vincent men's soccer team fell behind early and dropped a 6-0 decision to Thomas More in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.

After playing the good portion of the first half scoreless, the host Saints tallied a goal in the 31st minute to get onto the scoreboard. TMC then poured it on in the second half, scoring five more goals, including four goals in a 10 minute span of the half. Thomas More held a 31-to-5 shot advantage in the contest. The Saints put 12 shots on net, while SVC managed just one shot on goal. 

Junior midfielder Christian Trueax and freshman midfielder Zachary Lakenan each recorded two shots for SVC. Senior goalkeeper Eric Houghton stopped six shots in net. 

With the victory, Thomas More improved to 10-2-1 overall and 2-0-1 in PAC play. SVC dropped to 4-11-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the conference.

The Bearcats will be back in action at Thiel College on Saturday, Oct. 18. Start time is set for 2 p.m.
