BOX SCOREPHOTO GALLERYHUNTINGDON, Pa. (Sept. 2) - The Saint Vincent College men's soccer team was shutout 3-0 on the road by Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa. The loss dropped the Bearcats to 0-3 overall and marked the second time they have been held without a goal this season.
The two teams battled through a back and forth first half before the Eagles tallied the game's first score with just 14:22 remaining in the first half. Juniata scored the goal after taking advantage of a Saint Vincent miscue on defense. The Eagles added two goals in the first six minutes in the second half and that put the contest out of reach for the Bearcats.

Eric Houghton stopped seven shots in the loss.
Juniata held a 23-to-15 shot advantage and a 6-to-4 advantage in corner kicks.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 5, when they host Pitt-Bradford. The match will be the home opener for Saint Vincent. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.
