LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 11) - The Saint Vincent volleyball team was swept 3-0 by the Bethany College Bison at the Carey Center in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
The visiting Bison claimed the match with set wins of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-13. Saint Vincent started strong in the opening set, gaining a 17-9 advantage over third place Bethany. However, the Bison responded with a 16-5 run to earn the opening set win. Bethany then used the momentum from the first set to take the next two sets and the match.

Kayla Stockenus tallied a team-best 8 kills. Sophomore setter
Marisa O'Dell racked up 19 assists, four service aces and five kills in the contest.
Emily Vaughan recorded a team-high 18 digs in the loss.
Saint Vincent drops to 3-8 in PAC play and 10-15 overall. Bethany improved to 10-2 in the conference and 15-11 overall.
SVC travels to Grove City on Saturday, Oct. 15 for another PAC match. The contest is set for a 1 p.m. start.
