FULL RESULTS

The Bearcat women's swimming team defeated visiting Allegheny College by a score of 174-114 in non-conference action at Resnik Pool.
The victory is the fourth straight for the Bearcat women, who improved to 5-2 overall for the season.
Starting off the meet, the quartet of
Sarah Sheldon,
Grace Reynolds,
Kelly Kramer and
Marissa Frollo took top honors in the 200 Medley relay, posting a time of 1:56.13.
Putting together a strong meet for a second straight day was sophomore
Maddie Bartrug, starting off with a win in the 200 Free, with a time of 1:57.30.
The sophomore then added a first place finish in the 100 Free, clocking in at a time of 55.14.
Bartrug won her final individual race in the 100 Butterfly, touching the wall at 1:00.83.
Finishing off the day, Bartrug was also a part of the winning 400 Free relay team , competing with Frollo,
Ciara Lewis and
Marla Turk.
Turk put together a solid performance against the Gators as well, winning the distance portion of the meet. In the 1000, the senior clocked in at a time of 11:13.44 and in the 500 Free, Turk won with a time of 5:32.57.
Turk would add in another first place finish in the 200 Butterfly, touching the wall at 2:19.03.
Reynolds chipped in two first place finishes on the evening. Reynolds took the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.14 and was a part of the sweep in the 200 Breaststroke, clocking in with a time of 2:40.38.
Carly Grove and
Gabby Bobak finished second and third in the event, respectively.
Sheldon finished first in the 100 Back, with a time of 1:02.91. Kramer touched the wall first with a time of 2:21.94 in the 200 Individual Medley, to finish the individual portion of the meet.
The Bearcats will be back in conference competition with a road showdown at Westminster College on Saturday Jan. 21. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
