FULL RESULTS - DAY TWO
The Bearcat men's golf team is in fourth place among eight schools after two rounds of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships, held at Squaw Creek in Vienna, Ohio.
Thomas More College shot identical rounds of 305-305, and holds a three-stroke lead over Washington & Jefferson College (307-306). Grove City, after a 312 in the opening round, shot 311 to hold on to third place, but the Bearcats gained ground with a 309 on the second day after shooting 315 on day one. SVC is 14 strokes behind Thomas More after completing the fall portion of the three-round tournament.
Nate Yackovich shot a 74 in the second round, following a 76 in the opener. His score of 150 places him in a six-way tie for first place.
Brendan Shaughnessy is tied for 10th after shooting 77-78.
J.P. Duffy is tied for 14th, at 158 (78-80), while
Jimmy Dolan is 21st. Dolan followed an 84 in the first round with a 77.
Ryan Owrey (8-887) completed the scoring for the Bearcats.
The PAC Championships consist of three rounds, two in the fall and one in the spring. The overall team winner advances to the NCAA-III Championships in May.
