INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
ALLISON PARK, Pa. (Sept. 19) - The Saint Vincent men's golf team continued a busy stretch by competing in the La Roche College Invitational, hosted at Wildwood Golf Club.
Nate Yackovich and
Brendan Shaughnessy led the Bearcats by both shooting a round of 81, finishing in a tie for 16th place. Freshman
Doug Koza shot an 86 in his collegiate debut.
Jimmy Dolan and
J.P. Duffy each carded an 89 to round out the competitors at the event for Saint Vincent.
Saint Vincent finished 9th of 11 teams competing in the event. The Bearcats team total was 339 for the day. Penn State Behrend took the team title, with a score of 306. Javon Trout of Pitt-Greensburg claimed individual medalist honors, carding a round of 70.
The Bearcats return to action at the Westminster College Fall Invitational on Monday, Sept. 25. The event will be played at New Castle C.C. and is set to get underway at 12 p.m.
