FULL RESULTS - INDIVIDUAL
The Bearcats placed three golfers in the top 10 and finished second as a team in the Grove City Invitational, held at the Grove City Country Club.
Saint Vincent finished with a team score of 318, five strokes behind host Grove City among the field of 10 teams.
Brendan Shaughnessy shot 78, finishing in a tie for fourth overall, while Nate Yakovich was sixth (79) and JP Duffy was 9th with an 80. Jason Thorp of Thiel College was the overall individual champion with a round of 75.
Also competing for the Bearcats were
Jimmy Dolan (14th, 81),
Richie Rossi (18th, 84) and
Zach Wyatt (25th, 86). A total of 53 golfers completed their rounds on the day.
It was just the second event for the team this spring after multiple cancelations due to weather. Up next for SVC will be the Thiel College Invitational on Saturday, April 14 at the Greens of Greenville.
