The Bearcat baseball team lost the opening game of a twinbill at Washington & Jefferson College by a score of 15-4, then fell 9-0 in game two.
Matt Evans (0-1) started and took the loss in the first game, as SVC fell behind 8-0 after two innings, but only two of the runs were earned. Â The Bearcats trailed 10-0 after three before getting on the board with a run in the fourth, and the team scored once in each of the final four innings before the game was stopped after 7.

Bobby Finn and
Ramon Milke each had two hits for Saint Vincent, and
Jacob Schott worked one scoreless inning in relief.
In the second game, the Bearcats managed just four hits, including two from Morrone. Â
Matt Whittaker (1-3) started and worked into the sixth inning, striking out three but taking the loss.
The Bearcats are now 5-11 overall on the season, 1-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. W&J improves to 13-8, and is undefeated in the conference, now 6-0.
Weather permitting, the Bearcats will have their home opener on Friday (April 6), hosting Grove City College at 1PM at Bearcat Ballfield. Â
