The Saint Vincent college swim teams fell to the Westminster Titans in Presidents' Athletic Conference meets. The men dropped a 170.5-117.5 decision, while the women fell by a score of 179-115.
The men's team is now 2-2 in the PAC, and the women drop to 2-3.
Marion D'Aurora achieved the first victory of the day for the women's team in the 1000 Free, putting on a dominant performance. She finished with a time of 11:25.27. In the following race, the 200 Freestyle,
Maddie Bartrug rocketed to the top, clocking in at 1:59.51.
D'Aurora dominated once more in the 200 Fly, claiming victory with a time of 2:18.02.
Lauren Krecota finished in 3rd place; her time was 2:24.72.
In the 50 Free, Bartrug would attain her second victory with a notable time of 25.22.
The 100 Free saw
Ciara Lewis snatch victory away from the Titans after a close, competitive race; her time was 56.08.
Claire Kenna took 3rd place with a time of 57.26.
In her 3rd first-place finish of the meet, Bartrug dominated the 200 IM, touching the wall at 2:16.18.
The women's 200 Free Relay would see the quartet of Kenna, D'Aurora,
Samantha Mears, and Lewis top all competition with a time of 1:43.52.
For the men's team, the first victory would also be found in the 1000 Free.
Kevin Martin put on a spectacular performance to finish in first place with a time of 10:37.74. Then in the 200 Free,
Jacob Davis was victorious, clocking in at 1:45.39.
In the 100 Breaststroke,
John Martin narrowly missed first place, but his second place finish still walked away with a noteworthy 1:02.65. Micheal Marinchek finished close behind in 3rd place; his time was 1:03.29.
Zach Baum topped the 200 Fly with an incredible 2:03.66, and Davis would put up similarly notable time in the following 50 Free; a 21.6.
Davis claimed his third individual victory in the 100 Free, touching the wall at 47.8.
J. Martin would be victorious in the 200 Breaststroke, dominating to finish with at 2:16.44. Marinchek would be out-touched, finishing in 3rd with a time of 2:20.89. Baum was victorious again in the 100 Fly, cruising to finish with a strong 54.14.
In the final event, the quartet of

Ethan Yant, J. Martin, and Davis came back to win the 200 Free Relay, clocking at 1:29.29.
The Bearcats' final dual meet of the season will be Saturday, February 2nd. It will be at home against Penn State-Behrend, and it will begin at 1 pm. The meet will also be the Bearcats' Senior Day, and all are invited to come out and support the senior swimmers.
