The Saint Vincent women's tennis team's season ended with a 6-0 playoff loss on the road at Geneva College.
The Bearcats, playing as the #5 seed against #4 Geneva, dropped all three doubles matches to open the day, but two of those matches were closely contested. At #1 doubles,
Maura Skelley and
Angela Popovich fell by a score of 8-5, while the #3 tandem of
Livia Wentworth and
Lauren Hartner battled to an 8-6 loss.
In singles play, the Bearcats dropped three matches that reached their full conclusion, while the remaining three matches were stopped once the match was clinched.
SVC concludes its season with an overall record of 8-5.
