The Saint Vincent women's tennis team rolled to a Senior Day victory over Presidents' Athletic Conference for Waynesburg, 7-2.
Maura Skelley and
Angela Popovich teamed for an 8-1 win at first doubles before
Kate Palko and
Abby Jo Stull cruised to an 8-2 win in the two hole. Seniors
Jessica Hartner and
Livia Wentworth capped off doubles with an 8-4 win at third doubles.
Stull put the Bearcats up by four with a 6-0, 6-1 at third singles. Popovich put the finishing touches on the match with her 6-2, 6-0 win at second singles. Skelley and Wentworth also won hard fought matches in singles play at first and fourth singles respectively.
The win bolsters Saint Vincent's record time 7-2 (3-2 PAC) on the year. The Bearcats will return to action on Thursday, October 10th, when they travel to Grove City to take on the Wolverines.
