The Saint Vincent College men's basketball team faced Hood College in a non-conference matchup. The Bearcats fell to the Blazers, 76-63. 

Hood College opened the game by scoring the first five points. Saint Vincent tried to battle back but the Blazers still lead 18-13 with 11:39 remaining in the first half.

Walter Bonds hit three-pointer to give the Bearcats a one-point lead (21-20). Later in the period, SVC increased its lead to nine and held a two-point advantage (36-34) at the half.

In the second half, Saint Vincent increased its lead to 40-34 with 18:39. The Bearcats held the lead until the 13:24 mark when Hood knocked down a three-pointer to give the hosts a 48-47 lead.

Later in the half, the Blazers went on a 9-0 run to open a 72-57 lead with 2:12 to go. Saint Vincent tried but was not able to cut the lead under double digits as they lost by 13 points.

David Stephen led Saint Vincent with 21 points while making four three-point shots and tallying six assists. Josh Duda added 17 points off the bench as he went six-for-nine from the field.

Saint Vincent falls to 3-4 on the year as it returns to the Carey Center on Monday, Nov. 25 against Penn State-Beaver. Start time is 7 p.m.
