FULL RESULTS - WOMEN
The Bearcat swim teams concluded their competition at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational with a final evening of strong swims. The men finished eighth out of 10 teams while the women finished seventh out of 10.
On the men's side,
Zach Baum claimed second place in the 100 Freestyle final. Baum stopped the clock at 45.82.
In the 200 Breaststroke final,
John Martin hit the wall at 2:08.96 to finish in ninth place.
The relay of
Kris Smith,
Danny Whirlow,
Ethan Yant, and Baum rounded out the men's accomplishments, finishing 10th overall in the 400 Freestyle Relay final with a 3:11.28.
For the women,
Erica Steele secured eighth place in the 100 Freestyle final with a time of 54.35.
Sara Basala finished in 12th place in the 200 Breaststroke final. Her time was a 2:34.45.
The women concluded the meet with a seventh-place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay final. The team of
Lauren Connors,
Katie Kozy,
Claire Kenna, and Steele clocked in at 3:40.28.
The Bearcats return to action when they travel to Washington & Jefferson College on Friday, December 6th. The meet will begin at 6 p.m.
