With his five-point performance against Hood College, Saint Vincent senior
Jeremy Kennedy became only the fifth player in Bearcat lacrosse history to reach the 200-point level.
Â
His current total of 202 puts him in a tie for third place with Nick Pensyl, a 2015 graduate.
Â
Kennedy, a native of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania and graduate of Pine-Richland High School, now sets his sights on another target, becoming the school's all-time leader in goals scored.
Kennedy has scored 146 goals in his career, just three behind Ian Poole (149, 2003-06).  He has accomplished the task in just 55 games.
Kennedy has tallied 14 goals in the team's first five games this season, and leads the team in both goals and points (20). Last season, he scored 64 goals, which surpassed the previous school record of 52 in a year, set by Pensyl in 2015.Â
Â
All eyes will be on Kennedy on Friday afternoon (March 15), when the Bearcats host Medaille College at UPMC Field on the Saint Vincent campus, as his looks to move to the top of the list in the history of the team, which is in its 33
rdyear of existence.
